I started working with dotdotdash in 2023 as a freelancer before joining their team full time in 2025. This has been, hands down, the best and most exciting team and workstream I've ever had. dotdotdash thrives on delivering serious technical challenges with elegant style.
If you ever have to wait in the TSA line at PDX, look up at the massive screens. We created real time environmental scenes which adapt to the weather, time of day, and even the number of people of the airport, to give travelers a moment of peace in their hectic agenda.
In early 2024, we gave a six-axis arm robot a place to dream and play. A combination of room-scale body tracking, robotic control, and a custom graphics engine came together to allow a robot to explore a surreal rendition of its hime in Detroit when it's not greeting visitors.
At NYFW, designer Khaite held a unique show at the Armory. In pitch black darkness, we tracked models at room-scale and lit their path, providing full focus on the collection.
AI has become integrated into my life at several levels. Not only do I use it as a tool, but I've gone deep into prompt engineering and data flows for creative output. To that end, as part of a massive team effort at ddd and Nike, we created Nike's AirImagination. This was Nike's first public-facing AI platform. For all the things I've done in my life, I have to say that releasing an AI platform to the public, with all that could go wrong, was by far the most frightening. Nike members chat with a digital assistant to bring their design ideas to life. The magic is in how much the assistant truly helps, the quality of the results, how well it can honor a creator's vision, and how effectively the system defends against abuse. Some truly amazing pieces came from the campaign, and a few ideas have actually been brought to life by Nike.
There are countless other projects I've had the pleasure to be part of at dotdotdash, and I hope to be here for a long time to come.
