I'm a little fuzzy on how I fell into it, especially living in a rural area detached from urban society, but I went deep into graffiti. I wasn't into tagging or the notoriety of "getting up", but I loved the style. The concept of flow, and the feeling and technicality of cans.
My first true form of income from a legal business was designing, printing, and selling graf shirts when I was fourteen. They were sold at London Underground, and some Hot Topic locations, in Southern California. Between that and pay dirt from a more traditional mural, I was able to buy myself a Neo-Geo and a few games.
I haven't been able to locate any photos of murals I did with paint, but I scanned a few pages out of old sketchbooks I still have sitting around. Some of these were references for pieces which made it onto walls.
